Pain and suffering is often comprised of many layers. What is often overlooked in treating pain is the impact that social, mental, emotional and even existential insults can have on our experience of pain. This may explain why you still find yourself suffering from the injury years after the incident.

These sessions are for those who are looking for a wholistic, trauma-informed approach to care. My sessions are an evidence-based approach combining my 17 years of practice in the modalities of craniosacral work, the neuroscience of trauma, central nervous system regulation, ancestral healing, somatic practice, and meditation practices, among others.

The intention of these sessions is to support you in rediscovering and reconnecting with your Heart and your inner healing capacity. They have been described as transformative sessions by some.

These sessions comprise of standard musculoskeletal practices of assessment and treatments combining manual therapies, functional dry needling (IMS) and home exercises.
These sessions are for injuries that do not have multiple layers of impact and often respond to standard physiotherapy care.

Visionary Craniosacral Work® in Duncan, BC
Visionary Craniosacral Work® is a gentle, non-invasive, hands-on therapy that supports the body’s natural capacity for regulation and healing. The craniosacral system includes the brain, cerebrospinal fluid, the membranes within the skull, the 22 cranial bones, the spine, and the sacrum. Subtle movements within this system reflect the overall functioning of the nervous system and the body as a whole.

Using light, precise touch, David listens to these subtle rhythms and patterns. This quality of attentive presence — sometimes described as “the heart of listening” — allows the perception of areas of restriction, imbalance, or stored tension.

Contacting specific areas of the body in a careful and responsive way supports the nervous system to settle and reorganize. As the system shifts toward greater balance, clients often experience;

Online Somatic Practice Sessions
This is a particular practice that educates and empowers you to come into deeper relationship with your body in a way that is paced and at ease. You will be guided to connect with your sensations through a set of specific techniques that harness the healing power of your somatic and regulation systems. This session is more accurately called a 'practice' as the main goal is to deliver easily understandable tools for you to take home, practice and integrate into your daily healing routine.
